What it is
A CS2 loadout builder that lets players assemble a full skin setup, compare real-time prices across multiple marketplaces, and export the result as a shareable image.
The idea
Pricing a loadout usually means tab-hopping between five different marketplaces by hand. The idea was to collapse that into one place: build it once, see what it actually costs everywhere, and walk away with something to show for it.
Design direction
Dark and tactical, built around a proper inventory-grid feel rather than a typical e-commerce layout, closer to the game's own UI language than a storefront.
Interaction
Players assemble a loadout piece by piece; prices update live as they build, pulled from multiple marketplaces at once, with a built-in recommender surfacing the best-value item in a given price range instead of just the cheapest or most popular.
Technical implementation
A React 19 and Vite frontend talking to a Cloudflare Workers backend (Hono), with a scheduled cron job refreshing marketplace prices daily and caching skin data in R2. Finished loadouts export to PNG client-side.
Challenges
Marketplace prices don't agree with each other and change constantly, so keeping the comparison accurate meant building real caching and refresh logic instead of just calling out to each source live on every page load.
